Alastair Griffiths is a Sheffield-based photographer working across portrait, live music and events, and urban and street photography.

At its core, photography for Alastair is about storytelling. He believes a single frame can carry a whole narrative: who someone is, what a moment felt like, or what a place is really like. His approach is rooted in observation and timing, seeking candid expression, shifting light, and the fleeting detail that gives an image its meaning. Working in the moment, he aims to create photographs that feel honest and unposed.

In portraiture, Alastair collaborates with clients to produce relaxed, authentic images that reflect their personality. His live music and event photography captures the dynamic energy and mood of performances as they happen, from the audience to the stage. On the street, he documents the pulse of urban life, discovering subtle stories within crowds, the dance of light and shadow, and candid moments of passersby.
